No, the page view numbers I quoted you before don”t count the refresh numbers. I get 2 sets of numbers, one with the refresh numbers added in and 1 without. The site traffic numbers I have always quoted DO NOT include refresh numbers. They are only about 10,000 extra pageviews every day, and they exclusively come from the homepage, where the refresh is set at 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Even when I had the refresh set on post pages” at 15 minutes, they only accounted for approximately 200 pageviews per day. Most people don”t stay on a single page that long. They use the links to hop somewhere else on the site. Also, I have 5 total traffic measurement services that all measure my traffic DIRECTLY, with code I have installed on the site – Quantcast, Google Analytics, WordPress, Chartbeat and AW Server Level Stats. Plus my advertising network provides a 6th stats service. I know my numbers inside and out.
