How to Care for Jasmine Plants
Jasmine plants can thrive for years and years with just the right amount of attention. Most people like to grow them indoors now, housing them in nice pots and planters. - With lighting, jasmines need full sunlight during spring and summer since this is their bloom season; during winter on the other hand, direct light isn’t necessary, but they do need enough to survive.
- Their soil should be moist and well-drained at all times, but be careful of overwatering! The trick is to pour water into your pot slowly to prevent slip-ups and potential root-rotting.
- Also, because you’ll be dealing with tropical plants, the surrounding temperatures should be anywhere between 60 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Jasmine plants can still survive in cooler rooms, but be sure that temperatures don’t fall under 41 degrees!
- Don’t forget to prune regularly as well – this will help maintain the plant’s overall health and shine.
