On Sunday, July 31, Robert Herjavec wed his beautiful Aussie Dancing with the Stars partner, Kym Johnson. Although we didn’t win Robert’s investment on Shark Tank back in 2014, we were lucky enough to work closely with him and Kym for the wedding flowers for their big day!

The whole affair took place at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Of all the beautiful details that went in to this amazing wedding, Johnson told People Magazine  that, “[flowers are] my favorite part of the whole wedding.” Someone grab the tissues, we are getting a little misty over here. Flowers are our favorite part too, Kym!

The bride had a vision of elegant and classic, with all white flowers and some serious oomph. We enlisted the help of our talented florist partner, Stephanie at Seed Floral in Los Angeles to work with us on the floral designs.

For the classic Beverly Hills setting, we focused on an abundant mix of all white flowers, including mixed roses, lisianthus, hydrangeas, orchids, calla lilies and peonies. For a touch of green, we incorporated succulents and lemon leaf throughout.

The venue was sectioned into different areas, each with unique elements. For the ceremony, white rose petals lined the aisle, and hurricane vases to house floating candles. Johnson’s bridal bouquet was made of fully bloomed white peonies.  The couple exchanged vows underneath an impressive arch constructed of hundreds of white flowers. It was all very impressive, if we do say so ourselves.

After the ceremony, cocktail hour took place in the promenade featuring two bars and a lounge area. For the champagne bar, the decor was more feminine with small white hydrangeas, while the whiskey bar had more of a masculine feel with dark wood and succulents. The lounge was decked with a succulent wall and three white flower chandeliers, green garlands and strung lights hung from the ceiling.

The reception was all about modern romance. The couple had their “first” dance on a white dance floor monogrammed with their initials. A white and gold theme carried on into the dining areas with large white floral centerpieces, golden menus and china on each of the tables. Guests were sent home with a Bouq of white mini calla lilies, which was Robert and Kym’s way of saying “Thanks a bunch!”

We were excited to be a part of this beautiful wedding!
