We partner with some of the best artisan florists nationwide to build a network that delivers beautiful, hand-crafted bouquets on demand. They are such an important part of our business and we want to introduce you to a few of them. To start, we are keeping it local with Fiore Designs, a Los Angeles based floral, event & design company with a retail boutique in Venice.
We had the pleasure to connect with the Founder & President of Fiore designs, Jennifer Juhos while she was artistically arranging a beautiful Bouq, to share a little bit about herself and her love for flowers.
What is your favorite flower?
That is so difficult to answer! But if I had to choose, I would have to say garden roses. I love that there are endless varieties, including amazingly fragrant ones, and such a diverse palette of colors they grow in.
When did your love of florals begin/How did you get your start in the floral industry?
My love of florals began as a little girl, but I never thought about floral design as a career. After working in flower shops in high school & college, and helping write plans for other businesses, I decided to use my degrees in business & fine art and start my own business. I started Fiore Designs in October of 1999!
Where do you look for inspiration?
I am a constant observer, so I always have my eyes open and find inspiration everywhere, from vintage books to flea markets to plants I notice while walking my dogs around my neighborhood. We are so fortunate living in Los Angeles to have access to such diversity, art and culture. We only need to take advantage of it all!
Why did you choose The Bouqs as your partner?
We were looking to expand our reach in Los Angeles and were up for a new challenge, so we thought partnering with the Bouqs would be a wonderful opportunity to do so, while meeting new & interesting people. We really loved the aesthetic of the website and thought it would be an exciting new venture…and it has been!
What is your favorite Bouq?
I personally like the Designer’s Choice Bouq because it allows us to use our creativity in design & color. I love being able to go into our cooler and just grab whatever feels right and fresh.
