Pride is a celebration of self-affirmation, dignity, and equality for all transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, non-binary people, and beyond. Pride is a way to raise awareness while we celebrate the diversity in our local communities.
At The Bouqs Co., we cherish community. In our continued efforts to support our communities, we’re doing everything we can to support our local LGBTQ+ community. This year, we continue our partnership with the Los Angeles LGBT Center to generate donations that support the center and its core mission. Our 2021 Pride collection also helps all Bouqs fans celebrate Pride month across the country. We are excited to introduce our amazing partners this year. Each partner will help us promote our 2021 Pride campaign and generate donations.
Mark Kanemura
With appearances on two seasons of So, You Think You Can Dance, Mark Kanemura is one of the most creative and gifted dancers active today. Some of his collaborators include Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Carly Rae Jepson, and Katy Perry.
Kanemura masterfully combines old-school props and costumes with the latest video effects to create hilarious and exciting clips. We love Mark’s creativity and humor. Watch some of his dance clips and you’ll be smiling wide and proud! Peep some of Kanemura’s creative genius below.

He’s also appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race and was nominated for a 2020 Queerty Award.
Shea Couleé
Speaking of RuPaul’s Drag Race, our next partner for Pride is two-time Drag Race contestant and reigning All-Stars queen, Shea Couleé. Shea burst onto the scene by famously saying, “I didn’t come to play, I came to slay”. Shea is not just a drag queen but also a musician and performer. Called a “fixture of the Chicago nightlife scene”, they performed on the Werq the World Tour in 2017 alongside other famous drag queens. Recently, they starred in a web series titled Call Me Couleé.
With performances as a backup dancer for Christina Aguilera and in Iggy Azalea’s video for “Sally Walker”, Shea Couleé is a tour de force. Not only did they perform in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Fashion Show Vol. 2, but they served as one of the inspirations for Marvel’s first drag queen superhero, Shade. Not many people can boast they inspired a superhero!
Ashlyn Harris
Shea isn’t our only champion and hero. US Women’s National Soccer Team goalie Ashlyn Harris is also one of our Pride 2021 partners. A proven winner, Harris’ list of awards certifies that she will go down as one of the greatest goalkeepers in US Soccer history. A three-time winner of the NCAA Championship while in college (2006, 2008, 2009), a two-time Women’s World Cup Winner (2015, 2019), and the 2016 winner of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Goalkeeper of the Year Award are just some of the accolades Harris has earned throughout her career.
Ashlyn Harris has been a tremendous inspiration for girls and other LGBTQ+ individuals who seek a career in professional sports.
The Bouqs Co. 2021 Pride Collection
In response to popular demand, we’ve expanded our Pride collection for 2021. In addition to the rainbow roses that were such a great hit last year, we’ve added four new Bouqs. Each Bouq is artisan-designed and based on: the Trans Pride Flag, the Lesbian Pride Flag, the Bi Pride Flag, and the Pride Flag. We’ve listened to you and expanded our collection so you have more choices to send your friends, family members, and colleagues. We will donate 20% of the purchase price to the Los Angeles LGBT Center for every Pride item sold in June.

Taking its visual cues from the Lesbian Pride Flag, Ladies Night is a great Bouq to show love and support for a loved one.
Bi Me Love
You can’t buy love, but you can and should celebrate your love with our Bouq based on the Bi Pride Flag.
Yas Queen
Your recipient will exclaim “Yas Queen” after you gift this bouquet based on the Pride Flag to someone special.
Pride Bundles
Love Wins
Everyone wins with this bouquet bundle. The subtle rainbow necklace and pastel bouquet make a great gift for a significant other, friend, or family member.
Rainbow Bright
For the loved one with a sweet tooth, nothing says I love you like a rainbow box of Sugarfina candies! The white Asiatic lilies look fantastic in any room in a home and even the box itself is a great display piece.
Pride Add-Ons

For everyone who loves their morning (or evening) coffee, this pastel coffee mug looks great in any kitchen.
Did You Know?
Pride started as a riot against police brutality, led by the LGBTQ+ people of color. To honor their legacy, we’ve partnered with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, which provides health care, housing, education, and other services for more LGBTQ+ people than any other organization in the world, all of which are available for free or at low cost.
