Galvenized Tins of Roses

Galentine’s Day is right around the corner, so let’s make this year’s get-together the best. day. ever. Celebrating your girlfriends isn’t exclusive to February 13 but the day before Valentine’s is the perfect excuse to show some special love to the squad. As you’re planning your Galentine’s Day party, follow these five tips for a party your gals will love.

Tip 1: Send a custom invite

Custom Galentines Day Invitation

Let your friends know they are formally invited, but do it in a way that will get their attention and make it easy for them to respond! Text / DM a digital invite like the one above –– you can complete the invite with your app of choice and voila! We don’t mind if you steal ours, either.  Feel free to save and send!

Tip 2: Select a color palette

This year we’re loving millennial pinks, greys, and golds. Tableware is a great place to let your color palette shine. We’re absolutely obsessed with Harlow & Grey’s elevated, disposable tableware. It’s chic, durable, and best of all, you minimize your clean-up!

Tip 3: Add flowers to your decor

Here comes the best part –– making your own decorations! For our Galentine’s Party, we crafted our own garland and floral wreaths. Follow the steps below to DIY, or have your gals help.

What you’ll need: Greenery –– we used Italian Ruscus and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus –– shears, floral wire, flowers for a pop of color!

Step 1: Bunch greenery in groups of three

Wrap bunches with floral wire. We chose to use Italian Ruscus as our garland base.

Step 2: Tuck bunches

Create the garland effect by tucking bunches into each other. Hold them securely together by wrapping bunches together with floral wire

Step 3: Add accent greenery

Once you have your garland base, make your garland come alive by tucking accent greenery throughout. We used Silver Dollar Eucalyptus for this step.

Step 4: Add flowers!

For pops of color, trim flower stems and place throughout garland base. The garland will stay fresh looking for 12–24 hours.
