DIY Floral Stir Sticks

No matter your age, everyone gets to have fun on Halloween! Sure the kids may get to go home with tons of candy, but the adults are in for a real treat, too. Halloween parties are the perfect way to unwind at the end of the month and hang out with your fellow grown-up ghouls. Our flowers are no stranger to being the life of a party (last year we threw a pretty spectacular Monster Mash starring our fall Bouqs) and this time around we’re showing you how to take your Halloween cocktail game to the next level with DIY floral stir sticks! They’re the perfect way to glam-up your guests’ cocktail glasses as you get your booogie on at your Halloween party. Let’s go! 👻 Cutting Stems For Floral Sticks Materials:

  • Short bamboo sticks
  • Floral wire
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Flowers – we used a variety of marigolds, roses, carnations, and greenery from our Chai Bouq and Orchard Bouq.

Step 1: Trim down your flower stems til they are about 1” long. Step 2: Cut your floral wire to about 6” long. Step 3: Position a couple of flowers on top of a bamboo stick. You’ll want to have the flower buds flush to the top of the stick. Step 4: Wrap your floral wire around the stick to secure the flowers. Repeat this process with a few varieties of flowers, and have fun! When it’s time to party, serve each cocktail with a floral stir stick so your guests can celebrate Halloween with floral flair 💃💐. We also found the perfect drink to pair these with, courtesy of HGTV: BONUS: Apple Cider Cocktail Recipe

Step 3: Pour mixed and chilled ingredients through strainer of cocktail shaker and into chilled cocktail glasses.
