Our hearts are broken. As systemic racism and police brutality persist in our country, we’re taking a stand against senseless violence because Black lives matter. We must do better. We must do more.
Our mission was built around kindness and compassion, but the current state of our world has us questioning a far more basic concept: human decency. As real people and employees, we believe in the strength of our community now more than ever. Together, we unite in solidarity against the undeniable injustice, inequality, fear, pain, grief, and ache that surround us. We must actively be anti-racist.
We may not have all the answers, but we’d rather try to have these conversations than stay silent. Within our company, we’ve been listening, asking questions, and talking with our dynamic team of people from different backgrounds. As we determine the best ways to support the community long-term, we realize this is only the beginning. To start, we are donating to Campaign Zero, an organization devoted to ending police brutality through research-based policy solutions. We encourage you to learn more and donate.
As we take action, we urge you to do the same. Please use your voice, and lead by example. Share what you learn, talk to your family and friends — hold each other accountable. Speak out when you encounter racism or injustice in your daily lives.
Together, we must make our community a safer space and better place.
Through the lens of anti-racism, we will review all aspects of The Bouqs Co. We are having conversations with our Bouqs Family at the team and company level to ensure voices are heard. We are committed to implementing change, and this is just the beginning.

We will review our diversity across the company, including leadership to identify where we must step up our recruiting and hiring best practices.
We will continue to diversify the models in images we share, and influencers with whom we partner.

We’ve set up a team to amplify Diversity & Inclusion at The Bouqs Co. It will be instrumental in shaping our ongoing actions and accountability. Recommendations will be shared directly with the CEO, then evaluated for implementation.
