Farmer Eli has a passion for Proteas passed down to him by his father Jose who founded Rosamina 30 years ago.Senor Jose fell in love with Safari sunset and proteas in general and defied nature to grow them in Tabio, Cundinamarca in the outskirts of Bogota. The farm boasts with 50 hectares of field grown Proteas, pin cushions, Leucadendron, foliage and has achieved Rain forest certification as well as Basc.  Our farm team of 120 employees much of them women head of household, work together to create these beautiful bouquets we hope you enjoy.

Founded in 1976 by four entrepreneurs, it now boasts almost 500 acres of production and more than 30 products available on a year-round basis. Located in Bogota, this farm was founded in 1968 and grows a huge variety of focal flowers! With an average of twelve hours of sunlight and mild temperatures year-round, the region’s atmosphere makes for optimal growing conditions. Also, the farm is certified by FLORVERDE, who advocates for and reinforces training, child care and family assistance initiatives, among other fair labor standards.

Lilies are delivered in bud form. Trim at an angle, add to water and refresh every 2 days. Retrimming the ends every 2 days will maximize their vase life! Once bloomed, use a piece of tissue or gloves to remove lily pollen (stamens) from the center of the flower to prevent staining. If you get a little on your clothing, use a pipe cleaner or a piece of tape to remove pollen before it sets into clothing. Dangerous if ingested - Keep away from all pets.

Keep your vase filled with water. Water should be changed every 2 to 3 days.

The farm boasts an outstanding team of devoted employees who enjoy good benefits like paid vacation and educational programs for their kids. Some of his employees have been working there for over 30 years! Also, Benito's farm is Rainforest Alliance certified.

Roses are delivered with guard petals still attached — these protect the roses in transit and can be easily removed. They may appear lighter in color or have spots (this is normal!). Trim stems at an angle and fill vase with water.
For the longest vase life, continue trimming stems at an angle as well as removing extra leaves when refreshing your arrangement.

Please display in an area safely out of your pet's reach.

Grown on a Volcano 10,000 feet above sea level in the most sun possible, the flowers benefit from volcanic run-off of pure ice-melt water, hence their name “Volcano Roses”. Also, Gino's farm is Rainforest Alliance certified.

Farmer Maria and her 180 employees love growing flowers. They also love the rainforest. Part of their mission as a company is to actively protect the Amazon jungle. They conserve the native species that are in threat of extinction, and then grow those flowers commercially as well as put them into the bouquets they make, thus ensuring these rare flower varieties are conserved for future generations.
