Continental Floral Greens started in the 50's, when the original founder began selling evergreen out of the back of his station wagon. Nowadays, under new ownership and new leadership, the farm has focused on quality and grown to have locations in California, Florida, and Washington. These farms grow premium fragrant and freshly cut greens like fir, cedar, and pine. Prior to handcrafting their world-class wreath, they go to extraordinary lengths to ensure quality, like harvesting via helicopter and grading each stem by hand.

Original

Roses are delivered with guard petals still attached — these protect the roses in transit and can be easily removed. They may appear lighter in color or have spots (this is normal!). Trim stems at an angle and fill vase with water.
For the longest vase life, continue trimming stems at an angle as well as removing extra leaves when refreshing your arrangement.

Please display in an area safely out of your pet's reach. 

When the path of sunlight reaching your plant is not direct, or is filtered by something else (ex: sheer curtains).

Keep your vase filled with water. Water should be changed every 2 to 3 days.

Todd’s nickname on the farm is Master Grower. He earned it growing sunflowers 365 days a year. Raised in the fields, Todd is part of a family of farmers that go back all the way to his Grandfather. Today, he personally keeps an eye on all his fields, making sure each grower is living up to his farm’s promise of high quality flowers. A pioneer in the industry, Todd still manages to stay humble, and will happily answer anyone’s questions on anything farming.

Gino’s farm grows the world’s best roses, and not in a New York City “World’s Best Coffee” kind of way either. These babies are perfecto! Grown on a Volcano 10,000 feet above sea level in the most sun possible, the flowers benefit from volcanic run-off of pure ice-melt water, hence their name “Volcano Roses”. Also, Gino's farm is Rainforest Alliance certified.

Orchids are happiest in medium to low indirect light. They only need to be watered once a week, just make sure that the pot is dry in between watering. An ice cube a week also works well for the orchid's watering needs! After orchid flowers fall, continue to care for plant to encourage more blooms.

Our Colombian farms use sustainable, and eco-friendly farming practices, as well as treat their labor fairly. Most are Rainforest Certified, and all of them are helping the local community by offering their employees things like health care and onsite childcare! Plus, they cut out only what we sell - so we don’t waste 1 out of every 3 stems like the traditional supply chain.
