Use a sharp pair of pruning shears or scissors to give the end of each stem a fresh 45º cut. You’ll want to remove at least half an inch, but you can also remove more. Remove any leaves that fall below the water line to prevent bacteria growth.
Grab and add a little bit of the included flower food packet to help flowers stay hydrated and prevent the buildup of bacteria. Fill the vase halfway with water. Change the water every two to three days with a fresh sprinkle of flower food.
