Care Instructions For Vanda Orchids

Vanda Orchids will arrive in full bloom, ready to enjoy.

1. Prep Your Stems

After removing all packaging including water tubes, give each stem a fresh 45 degree angled cut, about a half an inch, to help them rehydrate quickly. Place stems in fresh, cool water right away. Choose a vase that supports the stems but keeps blooms above the vase lip. For longer vase life, refresh water and trim stems daily.

2. Keep Cool

Display your orchid stems in a cool area, avoiding direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate, as very cold temperatures may damage the blooms.

3. Remove Spent Blooms

Orchids bloom from the top down. It's normal for lower blooms to fade first - gently remove any fading blooms each day and continue to enjoy the rest.

Floral Footnote

Talk about exclusive: this orchid grows just 2–3 flowering stems a year, and you’re holding one. Lucky you!
