Your celosia will arrive in full bloom, ready to enjoy.
After removing all packaging, give each stem a fresh 45 degree angled cut, about an inch, to help them rehydrate quickly.
Place stems in cool water right away, using a clean vase. Refresh water and give stems a fresh cut every other day for longer vase life.
When your fresh celosia starts to fade, don’t toss it! Strip the leaves, bundle a few stems, and hang them upside down in a cool, dark spot for a couple weeks. Once dried, these vibrant stems can be enjoyed even longer—no water needed.
Celosia’s name comes from the Greek word for “burning,” thanks to its fiery shape.
